walking around in Hamburg

Velvet top/dress & navy skirt, American Apparel. Shoes, Jeffrey Campbell. Necklace, H&M. Bag, Primark. Sunglasses, Jeepers Peepers.

As I promised you, some more photos from Hamburg! It is such a nice city and luckily the weather was fine. Ok, it was really windy and my skirt constantly flew up. But as a northern girl I was prepared, the black velvet "top" is actually a dress, so when the skirt flew up it just revealed a tight black dress :)

bday Part II

Quick post before I have to go! Hamburg was so beautiful!!! I was wearing black vintage shorts, an american apparel shirt, Primark bag and new Jeffrey Campbell slippers. I still have to break them in...got some blisters that day. Doesn't really help that I am going on a lacrosse tournament now...haha

Bday Part I

Wow, my special birthday breakfast my roommate planned for me was amazing! A panCAKE! After that my boyfriend and me went to Hamburg to do a little shopping and having sushi for dinner. It was a really special day, photos will follow :)

sunset

I was whining a lot lately about this awful "summer" weather, and I still can whine about it without any difficulty. But some nights have been so nice that we decided to stop studying and working and just enjoy the sunset! Precious moments during a stressful week. By the way, is anybody preparing for the GRE too? I didn't expect it to be so hard...especially the vocabulary section.

Have a nice evening guys! I will relax in my bed with a cup of tea and watch the last episode of "V" (can't believe the show got canceled, it is SOOO good!)

Just wanted to show you guys the reality of the northern Germany summer. This photo was taken this month (july!!!). I had 4 layers on and it was still too cold, mostly because it was freakishly-windy that day...luckily I am going to the States in September (NYC and California) to enjoy the sun and heat and warm up for the cold german winter :)

It's festival time in our town, so I put my boots on and enjoyed the sun! It doesn't look so warm on the photos, but it was actually quite nice, it is just really windy here, so it get's cold in the shadow...

Another University outfit, nothing special I know. But I can't dress up when I go to Uni, it is just not appropriate, especially when I work with patients or participants.

This weekend will mostly consist of studying for the GRE...urgh, someone taking it soon, too?
But I won't only study, we have a festival in our town that I wouldn't wanna miss :)

They lovely team from Delikate Rayne wrote me an Email a while ago and introduced me to their cool stuff. They play around with so many details that are amazing but still subtle. Especially their key piece caught my eye, the multi wearable top. Everything is made in the USA and they ship internationally!
